Rotary Dragon Boat Challenge

Visitor Information

The annual Rotary Dragon Boat Challenge is a great day out for the whole family. With hundreds of visitors last year it proved to be a real highlight of the summer.IMG_6240.jpg

There will be around 40 teams taking part in this year's Challenge. Each team is tasked with providing an on-pitch activity. This may be a tombola, face painting, challenge or game which means that there are lots and lots to keep visitors entertained during the day. Last year we entertained with puppet shows, limbo dancing, face painting and so much more. Keep an eye out this year for special guests and visitors to the site whose mission will be to keep you entertained.IMG_6295.jpgDragon Boats-1447.jpg

Pugneys Light Railway will be operating on the day taking passengers around the park and taking in the great atmosphere of the day. Pugneys Light Railway is the scale miniature railway operating within Park and is a children’s firm favourite.

We will have refreshments on site with Pugney’s Café open for business along with various concessions within the site providing a range of fare. Alternatively, get the family together and pack a picnic. The park and the atmosphere on the day are superb and to sit back, relax on a picnic blanket whilst tucking into some fantastic homemade food whilst supporting the teams is a great way to spend a Saturday.

The aim of the day is to raise as much money as possible for charity but we also want you, the visitor to have a fantastic time too. Come along, cheer on your favourite team and let's raise some money.
